Reagan’s Press Conference
During President Reagan’s press conference on June 11, he was asked to comment on that day’s Supreme Court decision upholding the Roe vs. Wade abortion ruling. His reply was a long, incoherent ramble about the Baby Doe decision.
Nobody interrupted to steer him to the proper subject. Nobody corrected him when he finished talking. Nobody asked him the Roe vs. Wade question again.
This President of the United States, probably the most powerful individual in the world, responds to a direct question with a complete non sequitur, and NOBODY says ANYTHING.
