Air Station Warns of Noise: Residents around El Toro Marine Corps Air Station will experience an increase in nighttime aircraft noise levels during July because of planes returning from carrier landing practice sessions near San Clemente Island, according to the base public affairs office. Beginning July 9 and continuing on six other nights later in the month, aircraft operating hours will be extended to 12:30 a.m.
