Fires Started by Lightning Burn 42,000 Acres in Utah

DELTA, Utah — Winds whipped up flaming twisters 100 feet tall Saturday as crews battled two fires that were still raging out of control after consuming 42,000 acres. The fires were apparently started by thousands of lightning strikes in the area Thursday and Friday, authorities said.
