Morris Plains, N.J.-based Warner-Lambert said its second-quarter net income rose 89% from a year earlier, reflecting the greater-than-anticipated proceeds realized from the sale of its three health technologies businesses. Results were partially offset by the cost of certain measures designed to improve productivity.
