Fairbank Helps Corpus Christi Beat Strings, 27-23

Rosalyn Fairbank scored victories in both singles and doubles to lead the Corpus Christi Advantage to a 27-23 win over the Strings before 1,476 fans Saturday night at the Forum.
Fairbank beat the Strings’ Lisa Bonder, 6-3, then teamed with Sandy Collins to defeat Bonder and Penny Barg, 6-4. In men’s singles, Eliot Teltscher defeated Terry Moor, 6-4.
The Strings (3-7) won two of five matches. In mixed doubles, Bonder and Teltscher beat Collins and Dave Dowlan in a tiebreaker, 6-5 (5-3).
