Fluor Constructors Inc., a unit of the Fluor Corp., has been awarded a $2-million contract to oversee construction of an estimated $125-million waterfront convention center in San Diego. The contract was awarded by San Diego’s port district to provide construction management services for the planned 1.35-million-square-foot center. Construction on the three-year project is scheduled to begin early next year.
