Culver City : Theater Deadline Extended
The Redevelopment Agency has extended the deadline for the Filmcorp Group’s proposed rehabilitation of the six-screen Culver Theater in downtown Culver City.
The agency, which acquired the theater through condemnation, extended the deadline to Jan. 1 after Filmcorp requested more time to prepare plans to buy the theater. The original deadline was July 1.
The company, which runs the Filmland Corporate Center office building adjacent to the theater at the corner of Duquesne Avenue and Washington Boulevard, wants to use the theater for film debuts and other screenings.
