Bob Le Mond, credited with discovering John Travolta and managing the careers of such other performers as Mickey Rourke and Mark Harmon, died Friday at age 51, a spokeswoman for PMK public relations said. He was 51 and had cancer.
In 1971, Le Mond and Lois Zetter formed a management agency and, the spokeswoman said, Le Mond managed Travolta’s career from the television series “Welcome Back, Kotter” through the movies “Saturday Night Fever,” “Grease, “Urban Cowboy” and “Blowout.”
