Czech Flees to Austria

VIENNA — A young Czechoslovak border guard fled into neighboring Austria unharmed in a hail of bullets from other guards and asked for political asylum, a police spokesman said Thursday.
Police said the incident took place Wednesday near the Austrian village of Unterretzbach, about 40 miles north of Vienna.
