Wallace Moir Co., a Beverly Hills-based mortgage banking firm, has arranged a $56-million permanent financing loan for American Savings Plaza in Sherman Oaks with John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co.
The transaction represents the largest single-mortgage placement in the 59-year history of the firm, according to Moir President Parker Jackson. “We have enjoyed a continuous relationship as loan correspondent for John Hancock since our founding in 1927,” he added.
The owner is McNeill Enterprises, builder and developer of the 21-story office building at the southeast corner of Ventura and Sepulveda boulevards. The 375,000-square-foot building is more than 90% leased, according to a spokesman for McNeill.
