Hermosa Beach : Hearing on Right of Way Set

A public meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Community Center Auditorium to discuss environmental effects on the Santa Fe Railroad right of way if the land is rezoned.
If the proposed changes are approved, about 20 acres will be rezoned from open space to various residential and commercial uses and about five parcels will be retained as open space.
The Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Co. is seeking input on environmental considerations, as required by law before any development can be approved.
