The U.S. War on Drugs

I hope that the crusade on drugs presented by the Reagans will have a positive effect on our country. It’s about time that the government takes action against this nationwide problem.
Although some people believe that the crusade is hopeless and will only bring disappointment, it should be attempted if there is even a chance that it will produce results. Our country should try to stop drug abuse so that more tragic deaths, such as those of athletes Len Bias and Don Rogers, will not occur.
