A seventh-grade science teacher in Tampa, Fla., snorted cocaine at his desk in the back of the classroom while about 20 students watched a biology film, said the police who arrested him on drug charges. An undercover detective posing as a teaching intern reported buying cocaine from the Franklin Junior High School teacher, then saw him snort the drug in class, police said. Richard U. Cottrell, 40, was charged with felony possession and delivery of cocaine and was freed on $5,000 bond.
