NMS Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Wednesday that it has received Food and Drug Administration approval to begin marketing an ultra sensitive test kit, used to help doctors diagnose allergies. Joseph Irani, the Newport Beach-based company’s president and chief executive officer, said the kits primarily are being marketed to hospitals and laboratories. The kit could be worth as much as $30 million a year in sales after it is adapted for use in such non-laboratory settings as doctors offices, Irani said.
