Proposition 65: Toxic Wastes

Great going, guys. We finally get a toxic-wastes initiative on the ballot with some teeth in it, and The Times takes it upon itself to knock the wind out of its sails.
Would you propose that we all sit back and wait for a perfect anti-toxics bill to present itself before we take steps to protect our health and that of our children?
