IBM may reorganize some European operations.

The re-evaluation of its system to distribute products comes on the heels of slowing growth in its European sales. The moves would be aimed at cutting costs and increasing efficiency. IBM might set up a new center in Amsterdam for distributing high-volume products, such as personal computers, to replace several existing offices. In August, IBM shuffled management at its European headquarters in Paris.
