Shop Owner Killed Youth, Attorney Says

The man who fatally shot a Costa Mesa teen-ager outside an auto repair shop Oct. 30 was Eric Vincent Holt, the shop owner, an attorney for the youth’s family said Wednesday.
Police and the Orange County district attorney’s office have refused to identify the man, who has not been arrested or charged in the death of David Gallardo, 15.
Attorney Amador L. Corona of Santa Ana said two sources identified Holt, who could not be reached for comment.
