NHL Roundup : Devils Rally for Four Goals and Tie Flyers, 5-5

Doug Sulliman scored with 2:53 left Thursday night to cap New Jersey’s four-goal, third-period rally and lift the Devils into a 5-5 tie with the Philadelphia Flyers at East Rutherford, N.J.
Trailing, 5-1, the Devils replaced goalie Alain Chevrier with rookie Karl Friesen and blanked the Flyers in the third period.
New Jersey’s rally started at 10:53, when Claude Loiselle scored his first goal as a Devil. He was followed 2:07 later by Aaron Broten, Greg Adams drew New Jersey within a goal at 15:27.
The tie snapped the Flyers’ four-game winning streak and New Jersey’s two-game losing string. The Flyers beat the Devils, 7-1, Tuesday night.
Minnesota 4, Toronto 1--Dino Ciccarelli scored his league-leading 17th goal of the season, and Keith Acton had three assists as the North Stars ended a three-game losing streak by beating the Maple Leafs at Bloomington, Minn.
