Man Shot In Head: A Huntington Beach man was accidentally shot in the head Wednesday night while he and his roommate played with a gun, police said. Jonathin Allen Blasche, 29, was in satisfactory condition Thursday morning at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Police Sgt. Larry Miller said. The gunshot narrowly missed penetrating Blasche’s skull, Miller said. Blasche was drinking with his roommate, Michael Sims, 26, about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday when Sims began playing with a .22-caliber revolver, Miller said. He said the gun went off accidentally. No charges are expected to be filed against Sims, Miller added.
