The official Moroccan news agency MAP said the U.S. delegation, led by Rep. William V. Chappell Jr. (D-Fla.), chairman of the House military appropriations subcommittee, was on a four-day “familiarization visit”.
The congressmen, who have just ended of a tour of North Atlantic Treaty Organization countries, also met Foreign Minister Abdellatif Filali, who briefed them on Western Sahara.
