Decathlete Gary Armstrong was suspended from competition after testing positive for a banned substance at the U.S. Olympic Festival this summer in Houston, The Athletics Congress said.
Armstrong, a former Miami (Ohio) athlete who finished fourth in the Houston meet, could be suspended for life, but the International Amateur Athletic Foundation has been lifting suspensions after 18 months.
