Thanksgiving and family get-togethers go together like, well, like turkey and gravy. So, appropriately, “The Thanksgiving Promise” movie airing this holiday week is a family affair for the Bridges clan: Lloyd, his son Beau, and Beau’s son Jordan.
This “Disney Sunday Movie” presentation (7-9 p.m. Sunday on ABC) is based on the novel of the same name and tells of a boy who learns a hard lesson when an injured gosling is entrusted to his care.
Beau Bridges also directed the film. Others in the cast include Millie Perkins, Ed Lauter and Jason Bateman.
