What’s a museum without a museum store? Especially around the holidays? Nothing! That’s why the new Museum of Contemporary Art has opened the MOCA Store on the museum’s street level at 250 S. Grand Ave.
Constructed to tie in with the design conceived by the museum’s architect, Arata Isozaki, the store will open at 11 p.m. Tuesday, just in time for holiday shopping.
Store hours will be 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Gifts featured include hand-crafted jewelry, toys, clocks, teapots and a wide variety of books.
