Sam Rutigliano, former coach of the Cleveland Browns, has emerged as the apparent front-runner to replace Bobby Ross as football coach at Maryland.
Rutigliano, 54, was interviewed for the job Friday night at a Cleveland hotel by a three-man search committee headed by the school’s acting athletic director, Charles Sturtz.
