Beverly-Fairfax : Memorial Model to Be Shown

The American Congress of Jews from Poland and Survivors of Concentration Camps on Friday will announce plans to construct a Holocaust Monument in Pan Pacific Park.
American artist Joseph Young, whose design proposal was selected in a nationwide competition, will show a scale model of the monument at a news conference at 11 a.m. in the board room of the Jewish Federation Center, 6505 Wilshire Blvd. County Supervisor Ed Edelman will attend the ceremony and announce the county’s approval of the plan to construct the monument.
