Security Pacific Branch Robbed: A young man who pretended to have a weapon robbed a bank teller Thursday and then fled on foot. Police Sgt. Charles Lathrop said a bandit entered the Security Pacific Bank branch in the 2500 block of East Chapman Avenue at about 10:20 a.m., indicated that he had a weapon and demanded cash. Lathrop said the robber was described as a white man about 25, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with black curly hair and wearing a blue-and-white flannel shirt. The suspect was last seen on foot heading west on Chapman Avenue, Lathrop said. Police did not release the amount of cash taken in the robbery.
