2 Spaniards Find They Climbed Wrong Mountain

MURCIA, Spain — Two Spanish climbers given a triumphal welcome home last September after claiming to have opened a new route up mount Sisha Pagma in the Himalayas have admitted they climbed the wrong peak.
Antonio Bohorquez and Pascual Noguera realized, after studying specialist publications, that they climbed the nearby, lower 24,700-foot Pungta Ri, their mountain-climbing club in the southern town of Murcia said Thursday.
