UOP, Nebraska Win in Women’s Volleyball

STOCKTON — Sophomore Elaine Oden recorded a match-high 20 spikes to lead University of the Pacific to a 15-6, 15-1, 16-14 victory over Texas in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I women’s volleyball tournament Thursday night.
Pacific (38-3), the defending national champion, will play Nebraska in Saturday’s final. The Cornhuskers (29-5) defeated Stanford, 7-15, 15-2, 15-10, 15-10, behind freshman Virginia Stahr, who had a match-high 18 spikes.
