NEW YORK — Model Marla Hanson, her face slashed so badly it needed 150 stitches to repair, today sued the makeup artist convicted of masterminding the slashing for at least $500,000, saying he destroyed her career. She also sued two men accused of slicing her face with a razor blade in the June 5 attack outside a Manhattan bar.
The model’s lawyer said “I want to obtain as much as I can get” from makeup artist Steven Roth, 28, Hanson’s former landlord who was convicted Dec. 20 of hiring the slashers in a dispute over a rent security deposit. Roth faces up to 15 years in prison when sentenced Jan. 27 for first-degree assault.
