Lamb Scores 30 Points, and USC Women Win

Forward Monica Lamb scored 30 points Thursday night to lead the USC women’s basketball team to a 99-82 victory over Oregon State in a Pacific 10 game at the Sports Arena.
Lamb was supported by guard Rhonda Windham and forward Cherie Nelson, who had 22 points apiece.
USC led, 47-40, at halftime, before pulling away to comfortable leads in the second half.
The Trojans improved their record to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Oregon dropped to 11-3 and 2-2.
USC will resume conference competition against Oregon in a 5:15 p.m. game Saturday.
