Ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and singer-actress Bernadette Peters were named man and woman of the year Monday by the Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University, the nation’s oldest dramatic organization. The awards are given annually to performers who made a “lasting and impressive contribution to the world of entertainment.” Last year’s Hasty Pudding awards went to actor Sylvester Stallone and actress Sally Field. In 1985, honors went to comedian Bill Murray and actress Cher.
