Kings Try Again Today at Winnipeg

WINNIPEG — After a 6-1 loss to the Jets here Friday night, the Kings (22-26-6) play the Jets again today in a 12:20 p.m. (PST) game.
The Kings’ power play, which had been No. 1 in the NHL before Friday’s game, collapsed against the Jets. The Kings converted only one of six power-play attempts.
The Jets (30-20-5) are in second place in the Smythe Division and pulling away from the Calgary Flames while gaining on the Edmonton Oilers. Meanwhile, the Kings are only nine points ahead of the last-place Vancouver Canucks.
