Hage’s Three-Hitter Keeps Master’s Unbeaten

Jeff Hage pitched a complete game and freshmen Jeff Preston and Mike MacArthur each drove in two as The Master’s College defeated Christ College, 6-2, in an NAIA District III baseball game at Christ College on Saturday.
Hage, a junior right-hander, gave up three hits, struck out seven, walked two and allowed one earned run for Master’s (2-0, 1-0 in District III play).
Master’s, which held a 2-1 lead after eight innings, scored four in the ninth. With two outs, Preston doubled in two runs and MacArthur followed with his first home run of the season.
