Thank you, Shirley MacLaine and ABC, for “Out on a Limb.” It was refreshing to see network television address spiritual concerns so thoughtfully. The writing and acting were the most believable I’ve seen on television in a long time. The show raised issues that many people feel, but that are not normally acknowledged by our out-of-kilter culture.
