Houston infielder Denny Walling won his arbitration hearing, and Atlanta outfielder Darryl Motley lost his.
Walling, who hit .312 with 13 home runs and 58 runs batted in last season, will receive $595,000. The Astros offered $450,000.
Motley, who hit .203 with seven home runs and 20 RBI, will receive $210,000. The outfielder, who played with the Kansas City Royals last season, requested $257,000.
