Irwin E. Russell, an attorney and former senior executive with Wolper Organization Inc., was elected a director of Walt Disney Co., Burbank. He fills a seat previously held by Joseph F. Cullman III, former chief executive of Philip Morris Inc., who becomes a director emeritus.
