NEW YORK — Former First Lady Pat Nixon, 74, left Lenox Hill Hospital on Thursday, two days after undergoing surgery to remove a small cancerous tumor from her mouth, a spokeswoman said.
Mrs. Nixon checked into the hospital on Monday, was operated on Tuesday and “everything went so well she was released” Thursday morning, hospital spokeswoman Anne Warner said. “A small, malignant tumor was removed and we don’t expect her back for any further treatment,” Warner said.
