Mater Dei Plays Against Servite

Mater Dei High School’s basketball team will risk its 51-game winning streak spanning six seasons in the Angelus League tonight when the Monarchs play host to Servite at 7:30 in Rancho Santiago College’s Cook Gymnasium.
The Monarchs (23-1) have clinched the league title and are expected to be the top-seeded team in the Southern Section 5-A division playoffs. Servite has lost 12 straight games to Mater Dei in the past seven years.
