Mail-In Rebates
Am I the only one who is sick and tired of these mail-in rebates? The papers are full of such ads. A dealer announces a low price in large numbers. The small print reads “after mail-in rebate.” If a rebate is offered by the manufacturer, the dealer who is benefiting from the sale should have the responsibility to give you the rebate and then be reimbursed by the factory. The most ridiculous rebate of all is the 50-cent mail-in rebate. It costs 22 cents to mail it in!
Consumers should band together and boycott the dealers who do this.
