Pacific 10 Roundup : Arizona Beats Washington, 81-70, Ties for Lead

Craig McMillan scored 17 of his 23 points in the first half, and Sean Elliott had 16 of his 22 points in the second half as Arizona gained a share of the Pacific 10 Conference lead Saturday with an 81-70 victory over Washington at Tucson.
The defending champion Wildcats (17-9 overall, 12-4 in the Pac-10) are tied with UCLA with two games remaining.
Washington (14-13, 8-8) had a 54-45 lead midway through the second half, but the Wildcats took the lead for good with an 18-3 run.
Washington’s Chris Welp had 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Greg Hill added 22 points. Arizona’s Tom Tolbert had 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Arizona State 66, Washington State 62--Steve Beck scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half as the Sun Devils (10-14, 6-10) beat the Cougars (8-17, 4-12) at Tempe, Ariz.
