Shupp Is Named Water Polo Coach at Orange Coast

Bob Shupp, water polo coach at Costa Mesa High School, has been named to replace Don Watson as the water polo coach at Orange Coast College. Watson will remain the men’s and women’s swimming coach at OCC.

Shupp, 38, led the Mustangs to five Southern Section playoff appearances in eight years. He is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach.

Watson coached OCC’s water polo team for two seasons, leading the Pirates to a 45-9 record. Shupp will be a walk-on coach at OCC and will remain an instructor at Costa Mesa High.
