Punkers 1, Christians 0. More than 100 rock-music fans Saturday rallied to the defense of their music, forcing a New Jersey church group to halt a rock ‘n’ roll record burning ceremony. A youth group at the Mainland Assembly of God church in Linwood, N.J., postponed the ceremony on the advice of police, according to Rev. Richard Kim, the group’s spokesman. “The police said they were not prepared to handle the very good possibility of a riot,” Kim told reporters.
