“Bujones: In His Image.” “Bujones in Class.” Kultur. $39.95 each. “In His Image” is an hourlong commercial for ballet virtuoso Fernando Bujones. He dances magnificently but the interview material here is so inane, the hype so extravagant and the treatment of his colleagues and choreography so callous that the cassette is nearly unwatchable. The women’s portions of classic showpiece duets have been omitted or chopped away as much as possible--and the ballerina appearing opposite Bujones in a lengthy “Giselle” segment isn’t even identified until the final credits! In contrast to this exercise in arrogance, the half-hour, instructional “In Class” cassette has no entertainment value but displays Bujones’ impeccable technique and style in a dignified and responsible manner.
