A Garden Grove bank was robbed of $2,130 on Monday afternoon when a man walked inside, presented a teller with a note asking for money, then walked out with the loot, authorities said.
Garden Grove Police Lt. Scott Hamilton said the suspect entered the Sanwa Bank in the 12900 block of Main Street at 2:30 p.m. No weapon or getaway vehicle was seen, Hamilton said.
He said the suspect was described as a black man in his 30s, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and wearing a blue jacket.
“He just walked in, got the money and walked out the door,” Hamilton said.
