12 County Soccer Players Named All-Stars

Twelve Orange County boys’ high school soccer players have been named to play in a seniors all-star soccer match at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Francis High School in La Canada.

The 18-member team, which represents Area Code 714, will be coached by Manny Toledo, Brea-Olinda High School coach, and Vladimir Nieto, Kennedy coach. The team plays the Area Code 213 team in the first of two matches sponsored by American International Soccer. Area Code 818 plays Area Code 805 at 8 p.m in the second match.

The county players selected are: Brian Fisher (Villa Park); Greg Fischbein (Woodbridge); Mike Kundren (Cypress); David Mojica (Marina); Kevin Hull (Brea-Olinda); Brian Hoey (El Modena); Ken Claborn (Brea-Olinda); Jose Vasquez (Santa Ana); Russell Griffith (Estancia); Ramon Miramontes (Sunny Hills); Eric Cinocco (Kennedy), and Jason Everakes (Villa Park).
