SUSSKIND SAGA

Dale Wasserman’s tribute, if that’s what it was, to David Susskind was less a service to Susskind than it was a rather smug pat on the back for Wasserman by Wasserman (“The Impact of Susskind,” March 15).
Rather than a paean for Susskind, the impression left by the article was, “Look here, I’m stuck with a script for a remake of ‘The Power and the Glory.’ . . . Anyone want to buy it?”
Perhaps Wasserman should run an ad in the Hollywood trade papers.
