A woman was found strangled in her apartment in the unincorporated Willowbrook area of Los Angeles County, sheriff’s deputies said. The victim, Joyce Thomas, 27, was found in a bed in her apartment in the 2000 block of 131st Street by a neighbor who walked in through an open door, investigators said, adding that no arrests have been made.
