A small brush fire burned four acres Tuesday before being contained by firefighters in half an hour, the California Department of Forestry reported.
Two CDF hand crews and an engine company were joined by firefighters from the Fallbrook Fire Department in battling the blaze, which burned in an area east of Camp Pendleton and north of Fallbrook.
No injuries were reported.
