Prep All-Star Games Tonight at Dominguez Hills

The seventh annual Lions’ high school all-star basketball games will be played tonight at Cal State Dominguez Hills, beginning with the girls’ game at 6:30. The boys’ North-South meeting is scheduled for 8:30.
The North team includes David Whitmore of Playa del Rey St. Bernard, J.D. Green of Fairfax, City scoring champion Kevin Franklin of Woodland Hills Taft, and Danny Price and Trane Hunter of Santa Monica. Doug Gehr of Rolling Hills, Richard Holt of Carson, Ronnie Gipson of L.A. Verbum Dei and Tim Little of Inglewood Morningside lead the South.
The roster for the the North girls includes Tia Thomas of Morningside and Nina Roveyr of Culver City. Mandy Hannah of Compton and Andrea Kabwasa of Hawthorne will play for the South.
