Boy, 12, Dies, 10 People Are Hurt in Bronx Blaze

NEW YORK — Fire apparently sparked by a faulty television set in the basement of a three-story Bronx building trapped and killed a 12-year-old boy on Saturday and forced his mother and other tenants to jump to safety, officials said. Ten people were injured in the blaze.
